it's not an easy life i would say.working far far away from mainland & basically stuck in the middle of nowhere.
the body is here but the mind..flying around places.
a routine & normal scenario, especially in this fogging area or we called it smoking room.life must go on,a cliche, but its true.
Seeing everyone faces, exhausted, smiling just for the sake of smiling.
And im apart of the scene.sometimes, when you reached at one stage where you question your sanity.
for how long you will doing this work?;i mean working at offshore.
in same time,a very old man who i admired the most because of his will power/strength sat beside me.
"what's bothering you?"he started with a short curiosity.
"narhh..nothing"i reply with defensive gesture.
"can i tell something about life?if you dont mind."he asked.
"yeah.sure"
"So many people walk around with a meaningless life. They seem half-asleep,even when they're busy doing things they think are important. This is because they're chasing the wrong things."and he added
"We’re so wrapped up with egotistical things, career, family, having enough money, meeting the mortgage, getting a new car, fixing the radiator when it breaks—we’re involved in trillions of little acts just to keep going"
i was shocked.i mean, the words are very harsh but it strikes straight away to my heart.
so i asked,"what is exactly you want to say?"
"Life is a series of pulls back and forth..like a pull on a rubber band. Most of us live somewhere in the middle.
"Like we're competing each other?a football match?" i asked.
"Yes, you could describe life that way.”
"So which side win?
He smiled & says
"Love wins. Love always wins"
